Why can’t I enter text into a blog post when I’m using my iPod to access the Internet – except for the title? I’m in a cafe in st Andrews, trying to post about the conference on the psalms and it’s gettin annoying. On the bright side, I’ve probably set a record with the length of this title :-)

  1. I know Chris Brady has posted before from his iPhone. Perhaps he could help.

  2. Okay sounds good… Ooh seems I can leave comments though – how peculiar!

  3. ok you shouldn’t be using an iphone anyway. it will explode!!!!
    ;-)

and second, clearly the devil controls your iphone or you would be able to post.

    • Well I guess I can’t deny your allegations ;-)

  4. In fact, here’s the conference update: we had 5 papers today, but I’ll only briefly mention three, as I’m on the iPod. Oh actually the most important thing to mention is that I had haggis for breakfast this morning, given that I’m in scotland. Long story short: don’t have haggis on the morning of a day you’ll be presenting a paper… That stuff sits in ur stomach like a brick. Anyhoo… Ok actually I’ll only mention two papers now, given that I’m feeling queasy on account of recalling the haggis:
    1) sue gillingham spoke about the reception history of psalm 1 and it was immensely interesting. She drew on reception of the psalm in Jewish and Christian art, songs, and literature. Buy her book on the reception of the psalms NOW.
    2) I gave a paper on paul’s reception of certain motifs of the psalms and it was immensely interesting. Buy my book NOW… Oh yeah – what book? ;-)
