Today we’re hearing from internationally recognized composers, poets, and dramatists about 20th century reception of the psalms in the arts. Again, it’s really interesting – and makes me wish there was more academic conversation between theologians and artists… Particularly in relation to the obviously poetic parts of scripture. The reception history of the bible is so important, and we disregard it to our detriment.
