Update of a great 1 Corinthians commentary

A little bird told me today that next month, one of the best commentators on 1 Corinthians will begin revising and updating his excellent commentary, engaging with recent scholarship and bringing the translation up to date.  Sweet!  I’m sure you can guess who it is…

    Well if by “best” you mean “one of the best” ;-) then you might be in a better position than myself to find out about review copies – he’s emeritus at your own institution if I recall rightly…

    I’m all for blog-review freebies myself – I’ve suggested to my own publisher that we give away copies for blog reviews when my own little contribution comes out. Won’t quite be in the league of Fee & Thiselton though!!
