Speaking of papers on 1 Corinthians, there are a few little contributions that I have coming out in the next year or two on this letter (besides the chapter mentioned in my previous post), which may be of interest:
“The Resurrection of the Dead in 1 Corinthians 15,” in Resurrection of the Dead: Biblical Traditions in Dialogue (ed. G. van Oyen and T. Shepherd; BETL; Leuven: Peeters, due 2011).
“Kerygmatic Rhetoric in New Testament Epistles,” in Hermeneutics, Paul, and Theology: A Festschrift for Professor Anthony C. Thiselton (ed. Stanley E. Porter and Matthew R. Malcolm; Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, due 2012).
The World of 1 Corinthians: An Exegetical Sourcebook of Literary and Visual Backgrounds (Milton Keynes: Paternoster, due 2012).
(Co-edited with Stanley E. Porter:) Hermeneutics, Paul, and Theology: A Festschrift for Professor Anthony C. Thiselton (Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, due 2012).
I’m also currently in the process of considering the publication of my doctoral dissertation on the theme and arrangement of 1 Corinthians. Thiselton has been very kind in strongly recommending its publication, so we’ll see what comes of that.
