This weekend I’ve travelled down south with my family to Bunbury. I’m teaching a weekend intensive called “the big picture.” This is something that our College is really committed to: the idea that the Bible is not just a diverse collection of materials, reflecting a variety of genres and backgrounds (although it is that); it is also a unity, with a centre. Centrally the Bible is the message that God has appointed Jesus Christ as the risen saving ruler of his kingdom.
About ten years ago, some friends and I produced some materials to help ordinary Christians and churches and Bible study groups come to grips with this big picture. The material is published by Matthias Media/The Good Book Co., and is available everywhere in DVD ROM format and as little books.
