FYI. I was able to download your book (thanks) to my laptop no problem, but when I tried to load on my Android device, it was the most frustratiing experience I’ve had in recent history. I don’t consider myself a computer novice either. After spending an hour and a half, I gave up. The program that the store recommended to read Adobe Digital Edition files (Aldiko) kept on asking me to authorize my device. I dutifully entered my newly acquired Adobe ID and password only to be prompted to do the same thing over and over again. It never would take. Their decision to opt for this kind of file may protect them, but it causes all kinds of headaches for the user. I feel better now. Craig PS I really am thankful to have your book though.
The frustration continues and worsens today here in Berlin. I was able to view tyour book yesterday just fine, but, in trying to load it on my Android device, I had to download Dropbox. When I did that, I discovered this morning that I could no longer receive my email in Outlook (have no idea why). At exactly the point yesterday that I downloaded Dropbox, my gmail quit coming in to my Outlook. I did a system restore which took me back to Feb 24th. At that point, I had to download Adobe Digital Editions again and, this time, I could not view your book on my laptop. The good news is I no longer have Dropbox loaded and I can receive my gmail again in Outlook. It just keeps getting better and better. A simple pdf would have been so much easier. I did some Google research and discovered that you can’t convert the acsm file into anything else. Cheers!
