I’ve just ordered the brief academic/personal memoir by Anthony Thiselton entitled A Lifetime in the Church and the University. Thiselton is an academic mentor for me. He supervised my doctoral research, and we have remained in contact since then. I really appreciated his warmth, humility, and encouragement during the time of my research. He has an enquiring mind, and a pastoral heart. So I will be interested to read this story of his life.
Klyne Snodgrass writes of it:
“This book is not merely a walk down memory lane with a devoted Christian and a superlative scholar. Rather, Thiselton provides a basis for reflecting on providence, precociousness, piety, illness–and humor.” –Klyne Snodgrass, professor, North Park University, Chicago, IL
